From One Apartment to Market Leadership
A journey that began with one apartment and redefined property management on the Costa del Sol.

Remy Dubois
Born and raised in Paris, Remy graduated from CentraleSupélec in 2017 and joined Oracle straight after — a path that took him from Paris to Ireland, and eventually to Málaga.
After recognising Málaga's potential in tourism and real estate, he invested in his first apartment — but struggled to find professionals capable of delivering the level of design, rental strategy, and management he expected.
That gap led to the creation of REMS.
After being promoted at Oracle, Remy relocated to Málaga — a city he barely knew, in a language he didn't yet speak. What began as an unfamiliar professional move slowly revealed itself: a city in full transformation, shaped by tourism and international demand, and the beginning of a deeper interest in real estate.

Remy purchased his first apartment with the goal of generating income through short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb and Booking. He quickly realised that the market lacked a high-quality service combining design, rental strategy, and property management. Instead of outsourcing, he took control of the entire process himself. Strong results allowed him to acquire a second apartment, and soon colleagues and friends began asking for help finding, designing, and managing their own investments.

In January 2020, a colleague from Oracle became the first client — marking the creation of REMS, which stands for Real Estate Management Services, and the signing of its first management contract. Shortly after, the first employee joined and operations officially began. In July 2020, Remy left Oracle to dedicate himself fully to the company.

REMS was built during the pandemic, shaping the foundation of the company under challenging conditions. Working from a small room, Remy structured REMS from the ground up — shaping the brand, defining its operations, and establishing an in-house model covering investment, design, and rental management. By 2022, REMS was managing 18 properties with a team of 8.

The company entered a phase of rapid expansion, growing from 59 to 120 properties in management. The team expanded to over 50 people, and operations extended across multiple locations on the Costa del Sol. REMS began positioning itself as a key operator in the market.

REMS now stewards more than 200 properties, operating from five offices across seven cities along the Costa del Sol, with a team of around 90 professionals. Today, it stands among the most recognised companies in the region — while continuously refining internal processes and elevating the guest experience across all operations.
